Maybe you have a passion for writing about a specific topic or maybe you just enjoy writing for the sake of it.

Becoming a freelance writer and writing articles is a great way to make money online and if you put serious work into it, it may even become your new full time job.

Content is always in great demand from businesses and websites of any kind.

Valuable content is what elevates a site above the rest and makes it truly shine. Content adds value to the audience and creates strong lasting relationships between customers and businesses.

The great thing working as a freelancer is that you can choose the volume of the work you want to do and when you want to do it. You can choose when to work, for how long and for how much (hopefully).

You can work for multiple customers (obviously not by selling the same article more than one) and by following the rules and guidelines of each marketplace / employer each time.

If you deliver valuable content consistently and bring results to your customers, you will make a name for yourself and soon attract more and higher paying work.

So, you have the skills but you are lost when it comes to selling your content. There are tons and tons of websites out there where you can submit your articles or look for work as a freelance writer.

I will divide the websites in two lists: one for entry level articles – low pay per article and one for experienced content creators with high pay per article.

The process is really simple. Anyone who requires an article written can come and enter a description. The task is visible to all the writers (there are some skill levels) and you simply have to browse a list with all the article gigs, select the ones you can fulfill and submit your article.

The rate is around $1.25 for a 150-word article, and the minimum payout is $20.
